1. Who are we ?

Our surgeries are situated in Rabka- Zdroj and Czarny Dunajec in the Polish Tatra Mountains. We posses latest dental appliances (laser, digital x-ray, Endodontics microscope) moreover we offer complex dental treatment (Implantology, surgery, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics). We assure transport from the airport and hotel service.

2. What qualifications do we have ?
 
The owner of the Clinic is Rafal Scheller M.D., Ph.D. - a dental surgeon, a dentist specializing in implantology, a member of numerous implantological courses and trainings in Poland and in foreign countries (Sweden, France, Switzerland, Russia, Czech Republic). Doctor Scheller worked as a surgeon in one of Dental Clinics in Great Britain from 2006 to May 2007.

3. How can I arrange the appointment and organize my stay ?


Just write or call us and we will arrange everything for you.

4. How much time do I need for treatment ?

  • 2-3 days  for conservative dentistry (white filling, cleaning teeth from sediment, bleaching)
  • 5-7 days for root canal treatment and all kinds of surgery procedures and implantology
  • 7-12 days for realization of porcelain bridges or other extensive prosthetic fillings

5. What are the prices in Poland?

In Poland prices of dental services, hotels and the rest of services are cheaper than for example in Great Britain, Scandinavian countries or other West European countries ( In Poland one night in 3 star Hotel (Bed and Breakfast) costs approximately 30 Euro.

Traveling to Poland

Cracow AirportThe fastest and most comfortable way of reaching our clinics is travel by plane. After arranging the time of your arrival our representative will wait for you at the airport in Krakow (KRK). It is also available to transfer you from the airport in Katowice (KTW) or in Poprad- Slovakia (TAT).

Cracow - WawelRafting on Dunajec river in PieninyZakopane - Tatra mountains

Rabka-Zdroj is placed approximately 60 km from Cracow (Krakow) and it is well known health resort. Main advantages of Rabka are beautiful location, climate and rich in mineral water that features have been well known from 18th century. In Rabka there are many specialistic medical posts treating chronic illnesses of the respiratory and circulatory system, allergies, rheumatic diseases and diabetes. Rabka is a health resort specializing in treating children that’s why many attractions are provided for them.

Czarny Dunajec is a small town situated at the foot of the Tatra Mountains (20km from Zakopane and 10km to Polish-Slovakian frontier crossing Chochołów-Suchá Hora). Aside from natural values a trump of this town are historic monuments and folk culture. In Chochołów there is a complex of 120 wooden farms built from huge stems in 19th century. This historic village is a real pearl of wooden architecture. In the oldest cottage built in 1798 currently there is a museum.



Tourist attractions


Rabka-Zdrój is not only the health resort but also a tourist centre with many attractions. If you get here you have to see and visit for instance:

  • Park Zdrojowy with numerous paths and alleys among beautiful greenery. During the walk you can get a rest near fountains in the shade of hundred-year-old trees. In the Park you can enjoy and make use of health alleys, playgrounds, bike rental, tennis courts. There is a possibility of playing bowling or volleyball.
  • Rabka has many attractions for youth and children, for example  they can spend time in the family spa park called “Rabkoland” or in  the Skate Park.
  • 17th-century wooden church (currently an Ethnography Museum). The Museum collects exhibits showing highlanders’ culture.
  • Many picturesque walking routes in the Beskid Wyspowy and  the Gorce are prepared for tourists. Rabka is situated at the foot of the Gorce to the level of 500-600 meters beyond the sea level. From Rabka you can go on Turbacz (1311 metres above sea level) - the highest peak in the Gorce or go for a walk to a hostel on Maciejowa Mountain where you can see beautiful panorama of Rabka and surroundings.
  • Heritage Park of Rolling Stock which exists since 1994 in Chabówka located 2 km from Rabka in the area of a former engine-house. The exhibition consists of steam, electric and internal combustion locomotives withdrawn from use and is located on a few railway tracks. Great attraction of the heritage park are organized retro train rides.

Emplacement of Rabka gives a chance for longer trips for example to Krakow (65 km), Wielkiczka (45 km), Zakopane (40 km), Wadowice (48 km). There is also a possibility of rafting down the Dunajec river .

CracowTatra mountainsPieniny


Cracow (Kraków) - is the most famous Polish city in the world which unique atmosphere fascinates many tourists. In Krakow it is necessary to see the Mariacki Church with the biggest in the world 15th-century gothic altar of Wit Stwosz, visit royal castle on Wawel and gothic cathedral with royal sarcophaguses and a crypt where Polish kings and national heroes were burried. An attraction for children is visiting mythical dragon that lives at the foot of Wawel Hill in a cave called Dragon’s Pit. During stay in Krakow you can’t miss Kazimierz – historical Jewish district of Krakow, Museum of Czartoryski, Barbican or St Florian’s Gate.

Wieliczka - the salt mine famous all over the world. Underground part of it creates near 300 km long galleries and approximately 3000 chambers on 9 levels reaching 327 m deep. Besides an underground tourist trail in the mine there is the Rehabilitating-Therapeutic Centre.

Zakopane
- called a winter capital of Poland but attracts crowds of tourists whole year. This picturesque town is located higher than any other Polish city (750-1100 m above the sea level) at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. To Zakopane entices tourists with highlander’s folk present on each step- in architecture, dialect, national costumes, music, cuisine. Zakopane is vibrant with life especially along the Krupówki Street- one of the most famous streets in Poland. It is a walking path with numerous shops and restaurants.

The Tatra Mountains - in the surroundings of Zakopane there is approximately 240 km tourist trails and near 160 km of ski runs. Trails of the Tatra Mountains National Park have many levels of difficulty- from typical walking paths to routes for qualified tourists. In the park there are 8 youth hostels. Great attraction is a cable-railway to Kasprowy Wierch.

Rafting down the Dunajec river - the biggest tourist attraction in the Pieniny Mountains. Tourists are transported on the wooden rafts by highlander raftsmen. It starts in Sromowce Wyżne - Kąty, ends in Szczawnica and lasts approximately 3 hours.

Wadowice
- it is a family town of pope John Paul II. In his home a papal museum was created, where lots of souvenirs related to Karol Wojtyła was gathered. Worth seeing is a basilica. The oldest part of it is 15th century and in the St. Anna’s Chapel stands a baroque font where John Paul II was baptised.

Thermal spa in Oravice - Oravice is a small town in Slovakia 24 km away from our clinic. Oravice is famous for their geothermal waters  measuring 58o C. In a modern water park there are a few swimming pools with hot water between 28 and 40 C degrees. Additional attractions of swimming polls are artificial waves, Jacuzzi, geyser, massaging streams and water mushroom. The Spa is opened all year long.
